The concept they were more cautious with Kap because of the lawsuit makes sense since the Kap incident occurred 7 months with the players that are retired. During those 7 months, EA's lawyers continued to insist that reference historical players had been appropriate. Not like anyone's losing sleep within a (likely ) cinematic trailer promoting a game that will just be precisely the same as last year's. Comes off since EA trying to get people to forget they renewed basically a complete monopoly on NFL Madden NFL that pissed off sports game lovers.

EA and NFL did not induce eachother. I'm sure they're equally pleased to make bucketloads of money. People just need to blame the party they despise the most. The NFL frankly doesnt care in any way, they just care about their image and gains, they understand the picture the nfl's had under EA and are content with this continuing without taking"hazard" in seeing other publishers would present their brand. As for money they likely decided that yet much ea is paying for exclusivity is close enough to offeset the profits from moving multi-published gained, im not happy about, but thats the truth.

I will preface this by stating I do not think that it's a terrible thing for them to bring awareness to the situation. It's significant by looking away from it that it can't just be dismissed. With that said, I do hold a certain amount of doubt towards dollar multinational corporations paying lip service to problems that are important. They to do more than just. Obviously, as a business they are under no obligation to do so, and it rings hollow when they attempt to stand with all the men and women. There are businesses out there that are doing things and this is the opportunity to emphasize those efforts.

I would agree in the event of paying lip service to issues without placing money and support to advocate for change or applying it at the very least to the company and their work. That said police brutality is not just something that a company like EA throwing cash does considerably towards fixing. At best they place money towards the lawyers and groups that struggle to see justice or lobby to get laws changed that at the government won't. It's systemic issues within authorities of not reporting their particular and holding them liable rather staying silent and with the police unions which allow it all to happen or in ways even promote it by the repercussions being a slap on the wrist followed by being hired at a different precinct showing them there is no consequences.
